• TScounter (FREE!)
  TScounter is an object oriented counter, which uses session management and ip comparison with a reload restriction to detect the real number of visitors of a website. Most PHP counter only use one of these possibilities to decide, whether to increase the number of total visitors or not if the webpage is requested by somebody. TScounter knows over 100 spiders and robots and does not count them as real visitors. TScounter stores all information in text files.

  A easy to understand, easy to install ASP Graphic counter.
• PowerASP Hit Counter(FREE!)
  This is a simple "ASP Based" hit counter solution and is available as a fully functional download. This counter will only work on ".asp" pages. It also has "FixedDigitCount" support for the graphical version. I haven't seen any ASP counter examples with that feature so I added it. Its something I always liked about "frontpage" counters and it allows the count to always be displayed with a minimum set of digits no matter how low the count currently is.

• ASP 101: Hit Counter(FREE!)

C/C++ Web Counters

• WWW Homepage Access Counter and Clock!(FREE!)
  This is a CGI program to keep record of the raw hits of a web page. It generates a GIF image of the number of hits and returns to the browser as an in-lined image. The program also has a run-time option not to show the digit images, this way the hits can be kept without displaying it. The hits can be be monitored without incrementing from a separate page as well. The program can also can display time and date of any timezone. It has a option to countdown to a specific date (past or future). Almost all of the features are run-time options.
• Web Page Access Counters(FREE!)
  Programs keeping track of the number of times a HTML-page is visited. This is done through a small GIF-image which is inserted into the HTML-page. A Win32 on Intel platform required. The counter programs include transparent image and anti-terrorist protection options! Starting with version 5.0 supports ISAPI interface. Tested with Apache, EMWAC, Purveyor, SAIC, MS IIS, WebSite, Luckman's Web Commander, Lotus Domino and many other servers.
• TextCounter C++(FREE!)
  TextCounter requires Server Side Includes and will display a text count of the number of visitors to a page in your web site. TextCounter includes options such as 0 padding numbers, file locking, linking from the count, displaying the date from when the count began and more. There is also a Perl version. It works on multiple pages and allows you to restrict accesses to certain parts of your server. This program is both easy to use and configure.
